Here's the deal

On February 4, 2012 Wesley was in a skiing accident and broke his neck. He is 16 years old and is planning to graduate high school this year. There are not many 16 year old boys as amazing as he is. He is kind, thoughtful, and good looking.to date on his progress. I will make sure Wesley gets to read every comment this blog receives. My siblings and I will try to keep this blog current.

It's all about me...

Seriously, this blog post will pretty much be all about me... the blog author, not the blog subject.

I have somewhat of an announcement that may or may not affect this very blog over the next few weeks. My dearests husband and I are moving. It's true... we are leaving Louisiana.

If I had to sum up our life here in Louisiana in one word, it would be 'food'. We have enjoyed our time here and have had some amazing food and also quite a bit of not so amazing food. It took me a while but I am now in love with Raisin' Caine's Chicken. Louisiana has given me a lot of material to make up stories for my neices and nephews; most of which are centered around gators. Ben and I have almost been eaten by huge alligators several times (;

Where are we moving, you ask? Here is a hint... kind of
It's a poor attempt at Spanish, I know. I have to learn Spanish for where we are going. Get ready for it...

Guatemala

That's right friends, we are headed to Central America. I will continue to update for Wesley; however, it may be spotty for a few days at a time during the next few weeks.

I hope you don't mind that I use this blog for my own annoucements... I would do it on my own blog but I'm pretty certain no one checks that anymore.

Update on Wes:
My family didn't tell me much. I do know that Wes went on his first outing today and his nephew made him laugh till he cried.
