Here's the deal

On February 4, 2012 Wesley was in a skiing accident and broke his neck. He is 16 years old and is planning to graduate high school this year. There are not many 16 year old boys as amazing as he is. He is kind, thoughtful, and good looking.to date on his progress. I will make sure Wesley gets to read every comment this blog receives. My siblings and I will try to keep this blog current.

This guy is legit...

I posted three videos below this post. They are a must watch. Wesley is amazing. The tasks he is performing are seemingly simple, but to him it is extremely difficult. I am sure you will be able to see that in his expressions.

Tuesday Update

Wes was still somewhat sick but is doing better today. He made all of his
therapy but was weak. He had a great nights sleep, longer hours.

Wednesday
Wes was still a little weak but had some very great workouts in therapy
today.  Up to this point you  could say he had his very best workouts
ever. Wes is learning how to roll over and is making tremendous progress.
He was putting rings on posts today and balancing himself with the arms
and wrists.  We are very encouraged by his efforts. He is still extremely
tired after all his workouts.

  1. Wesley... FIRST OFF,YOU ARE IN EVERY PRAYER IN OUR HOME and so many more homes too! Second, THANK YOU! YOU inspire so many, including me. You do not know me, I am a long ago friend of your mom. I have become acquainted with YOU online through facebook, pictures, videos and the written experience in the blog by your family.

The love and prayers of so many toward you IS A BLESSING TO BEHOLD. As I watch YOUR response to all the love and prayers, your reaction is such a reward. I also have seen excruciating pain, and exhausting physical therapy workouts, and so many more experiences that I am aware of only because I have been a nurse for almost 20 years!! I immediately go to my knees to plead for your relief. I have noticed this from the first facebook news, blog entries, pictures, and videos. YOU bear YOUR testimony by the way you live your life. YOUR choice of strength through the Atonement, tells everyone looking, YOU are a follower of Jesus Christ! YOUR relationship with the Holy Ghost is close, for He is present everytime I have seen a picture or a video of you, His comfort and guidance is there for you. My own testimony has been strengthened by watching and reading YOUR reaction.

YOU are an amazing young man! YOUR JOURNEY IS A BLESSING TO BEHOLD!! Thank you for WHO YOU ARE INSICE AND OUT :)

    Prayers continue,
    Cara Cook Probst
